I have microsoft outlook as well as road runner, does anyone know how to set up a pop3 email account?

DOes anyoe know where i can find my server info. It's asking for incoming mail server and outgoing mail server. Please help

To set up Outlook 2003:





1. Select Options from the Tools menu.





Select Options from the Tools menu.


2. From the Options window, select the Mail Setup tab.


3. Click the E-mail Accounts... button.


4. Choose the Add a new e-mail account option and click the Next button.


5. Select the POP3 radio button and click the Next button.


6. In the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter the following information:





User Information





* Enter your name as you wish it to appear in the Your Name field.


* Enter your e-mail address in the username@roadrunner.com format in the E-mail Address field.





Server Information





* Enter pop-server.roadrunner.com in the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) field.


* Enter smtp-server.roadrunner.com in the Outgoing Mail Server (POP3) field.





Logon Information





* Enter your user name in the User Name field.


* Enter your password in the Password field.





7. Click the Test Account Settings... button to verify the information you entered is correct.


8. Click the Close button.


9. Click the Next button, then click the Finish button.

Reply:You have to contact Roadrunner to get that info. They will provide you with the POP3 and SMTP server info so that you can set up outlook.
Reply:Your roadrunner provider should have set it up in Outlook. Call them or if you are using Yahoo email and want to forward it to pop3 you can only do that if you have a yahoo account. If y our roadrunner is web-based then go there and go into "options". They should have the instructions for pop3 forwarding.
