You can't get a free domain but if you want pop3 e-mail try googlemail.com or virginmedia.com
Reply:Domain name no...you can leach off of sites though. "angelfire" "geocities." Good starters if you know absolutely nothing about HTML or what you want to do and just want to practice.
POP 3 is another story. Don't know if this will help...but your ISP should have a username and password for you. For example I have Road Runner and they give me a free e-mail account(most people don't know about) and I use Thunderbird in a pop3 config.
