What is the difference betwwen a regular email account (ie Yahoo) and a POP3 email account?
one is from the yahoo server, and the other is from your internet provider. pop3 is from your provider not yahoo or anything like that. call your provider and set up an email acct.
Reply:Why do you care, use yahoo email in your web browser.

The latest user interface is very similar to outlook.

The big plus is you can access it from any computer on the Internet.

You can store one gigabyte of email there.

mail.yahoo.com is the address to go to to access their webmail.

a "real" email (using pop3 and smtp protocol) is nice too, but many Internet providers will only let you use their own server. And then when you want to move to another ADSL provider, you have to tell everyone to stop using that address.
