Is there any way to disable pop3 email downloading?

I had my outlook set up for pop-3 downloading, but the laptop's been stolen. In the meantime I've been using online emails no problem, but obviously the laptop's just been turned on because all my emails from the inbox have been downloaded off the yahoo server! Is there any way to avoid this or disable a pop3 setup?Cheers

Login via WEB mail in your browser (online email). Change the password so that when the thief uses your laptop, "his" Outlook will fail to pick up your email there.





u have to do this asap, even though a stupid thief cannot see ur encrypted password easily but if he has access to some spy software, he could see your password in plain text. u do not want this to happen.





I therefore strongly advise u to do the above asap.

You can only stop Pop3 by cancelling the account -----OR----


Just change your password .


If you have your password on hand it should be easy .If not then mail for a password reminder sometime during the early hours (when most villains are asleep) then collect your on line mail with the password and then change it .


If you need help Its just to Google " Yahoo password "and there it all is.


Do it now before the villains change it for you !!!!!!!!
