What is yahoo's email server type (POP3 or IMAP) or is it something else? i need to email pictures in windows.

need to email pictures in windows photo gallery, it's teling me i have to set up email account. i already have an account with yahoo. It asks me for email server type ingoing and outgoing. what does this mean and what do i have to do???
