My cellphone is asking for my yahoo pop3 number to setup email?

Go to connection settings





(A) Choose incoming e-mail





User Name: Enter your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com").


Password: Enter your Yahoo! password.





Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com





Access point to use: check with your provider - example T- Mobile: T-Mobile Intranet





Mail box Name: Whatever





Mailbox Type: POP3





Under “Incoming Server (POP3)”/ Security (ports). This server requires a secure/encrypted connection (SSL/TLS).





The port number in the “Incoming Server (POP3) field change from 110 to 995.





(B) Repeat the same the same for outgoing e-mail, with some minor adjustments listed below:





Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com





Mailbox Type: SMTP





Under “Outgoing Server (SMPT)”/ Security (ports). This server requires a secure/encrypted connection (SSL/TLS).





The port number change to “465” in the “Outgoing Server (SMTP)” field.
