Im trying change my default email address. pop3 incoming and outcoming?

Once I go to windows mail and click tools- accounts-and add my new account it ask me for the pop3 incoming and outcoming server. What is that? thank you

pop3 is a protocol eg port for messages after put in your server eg mail.bt internet.com you need your smpt which you can obtain from your internet provider
Reply:For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others.

* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 995


* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com


Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication.
