What is Yahoo's POP3, SMPT and authentication for free email accounts? ?

I am trying to send an Email using my free yahoo account

I've been asked what is yahoos POP3, SMPT and if authentication is required. Does anyone know this information? Thank You.

What is Yahoo's POP3, SMPT and authentication for free email accounts? ?
The free accounts do not provide POP2 or SMTP server information; they are "free" which means the ads you see on the e mail page pay for the service. Advertisers will not pay for ads if subscribers merely download e mail to a local mail client like Outlook Express because the ad does not download. Therefore to have "free" e mail you will not have access to POP3, IMAP, or SMTP servers for any use.

This is not unique to Yahoo; all others appear to do the same thing.

This is another reminder of the old adage "There is no such thing as a free lunch." - in this case substitute e mail for lunch.
Reply:You can only use POP3 with Yahoo Mail plus.
