I tried to email, but it said i didn't have pop3 email???
According to Y.Mail Help, you must be a paid subscriber of Yahoo Mail Plus to use email programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc., to access your Yahoo mail. Free accounts cannot be accessed by email clients.

If you already have Plus, go to this Help link...

http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/

Under the heading 'Accessing Yahoo Mail via POP', choose the email program you are using and follow the easy set-up instructions.
Reply:One answer..Are you with Aol trying to use outlook express.

If so .forget outlook..Aol and outlook not compatible..never.

I had the same problem with aol-outlook.
Reply:You don't need pop3 to send and receive emails. You can just go to your provider's website (like Yahoo.com). The advantage to using web-based email is that you can access it from any computer that has internet access. If you use Outlook or Outlook Express, all the emails you receive, or save will take up space on your hard drive. Not so with webmail. Think about it. If you still choose to go the other route, that's up to you but I don't know how to do it. Sorry.
